March Service Project: Read Across America Day!

Beta Club got the chance to be a part of "Read Across America Day" at Pleasant Hill Elementary. Our 7th and 8th graders read their favorite Dr. Seuss books and prepared an activity to go with it. Thank you for letting us come visit, PHES!

HUGE thanks to 6th grader Ahman Khan and his family for taking the time to go by a few stores in the DeSoto county area and getting us even more donations for our Tunica Humane Society collection! School Board Appreciation Week

We are so thankful for our DeSoto County School Board members, and we made a sign and cards for them to show them just how grateful we are.

Our cards were delivered to School Board members at the Board Meeting on February 18th, and they were thankful as well that students took the time to say "thank you". Thank you to the members who brought cards!

DCMS Talent Show for Make-A-Wish

We are SO close to our Make-A-Wish goal thanks to the proceeds from our 2016 DCMS Talent Show. The best and the brightest talent performed for us on Friday, February 12th and did a fantastic job. Thank you to everyone that attended, performed, and donated.

February Service Project: Tunica Humane Society

Thanks to our AWESOME students and staff at DCMS, we were able to collect over 435 items for the Tunica Humane Society!

Also, congratulations to Mrs. Ladnier's 1st period class for bringing in the most items and winning the cookout! They brought in over 60 items on their own!

Beta Members serve at the capitol

Beta Members Tyler Whiteside and Steven Zombirt aren't just serving their "Service Hours" in DeSoto County this month- they decided to go all the way to Jackson, MS to log a few! These two members are serving as "pages" in the State Senate this week. Way to represent DCMS and Beta Club! #jaguarpride

January Service Project- Valentines for St. Jude

Beta members stayed after school to create Valentines for the patients at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We remembered how much we loved Valentine's Day at school because of all the cards we got, and we wanted to make sure that every patient at St. Jude smiles just like we did.
